It is never easy to choose between the excellent objects on mearto.com, but this Anemone Chair design by the Campana Brothers, sold by Wright 20, stands out with its postmodern aesthetics and bubbly appearance.

The Campana Brothers (Humberto Campana, b. 1953 and Fernando Campana, b. 1961) are Brazilian designers who work together since 1983, to make furniture made of ordinary materials including scrap and waste products such as cardboard, rope, cloth and wood scraps, plastic tubes and aluminium wire.

The designs of Campana Brothers are highly sought after worldwide. They were the first Brazilian artists to exhibit their work at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1998.

In this design, they worked with pink plastic tubing wrapped spirally on a power coated steel skeleton, creating an ethereal and free-flowing look.

The Anemone Chair is going to be sold at auction at Wright 20 on June 9, 2016.  Bid live here.
