There is no doubt that the star of the sale is a lithograph by Andy Warhol; a portrait of Ingrid Bergman, posing as a nun.

The subject is taken from a photograph from the film “The Bells of St. Mary” in 1945. The portrait captures Ingrid Bergman in one of the strongest roles of her career. The portrait is part of a series of portraits in which Andy Warhol used Ingrid as his muse
