Ranking 9th on Art+Auction Top 25 Auction Houses of 2015, Artcurial takes its place among Mearto’s selection of the best auction houses.

Artcurial auction house consists of a team of 120 people at your disposal to attend to your needs as a buyer or seller. The company hosts over a hundred sales per year, covering over 20 departments with the help of experts and specialists. Their specialties are Modern and Contemporary Art and Design, Old Masters, Orientalist paintings, books and manuscripts, classic cars, arms and armor, Asian art, wine and spirits.

The auctions are held at their building Hôtel Marcel Dassault and are public and open to all. They also hold some charity auctions and in 2010, the auction house raised more than € 1 million for philanthropic causes.

Their catalogues are created by experts and are available approximately four weeks before each sale. The Artcurial building offers a space of 2000 m2 dedicated to the exhibition of objects for sale. As well as sales, services and exhibitions (gallery, bookstore and restaurant) are open to the public and free to access. The company has a library of 18,000 books on contemporary art of the twentieth century.

In 2000, they also launched a virtual gallery. Artcurial has offices in France in Bordeaux, Deauville, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier and Toulouse. The company also has offices abroad (Germany, Austria, Belgium, China, Italy, Israel and Monaco). It is affiliated to International Auctioneers, which consists of eight auction houses worldwide.
