Leading French auction house Tajan is preparing to present an outstanding selection of Design objects on June 2, 2016. Among the highlights are a sculpture armchair by Ron Aran, a plexiglass coffee table by Toyo Ito and a pair of tripod chairs by Steen Østergaard. Find the lots and bid here.

This armchair sculpture is made from woven and polished aluminium which creates an infinite flow of industrial clean-cut metal. It is designed by the Israeli industrial designer, artist, and architect Ron Arad, who is famous for his designs the Rover chair and the Bookworm shelf.

Representing the elite of Scandinavian design, these tripodal oak arm chairs come with a formed structure of large bent blades of oak belts, assembled with a T mortise and tenon joint, covered with mottled beige wool upholstery. What makes them interesting on top of aesthetically beautiful is that they were created for the Danish TV show “TV-Huset”.

These Italian design lamps feature a jewel-like, green faceted glass block with blue reflections. They stand on a brass stem with a white opaline lampshade and a tapered shaft. The designer Giulio Roberto is known by working with colourful glass and golden brass, creating glamorous designs of curvilinear forms and open form sculpture.
